APS Schools Closed - Tuesday, Feb. 19

As of 7 a.m., All APS schools are closed. More on:


As of 5:45 a.m., All APS schools are on a 2-hour delay. 


As of 4:53 a.m., all East Mountain Schools are closed and students in To'hajiilee are excused for the day due to inclement weather.

Students who will have canceled classes:

  • Students in To'hajiilee
  • Students who attend APS East Mountain Schools
  • Students who attend Manzano High School who live in the East Mountains. (Manzano High School students living in Albuquerque are required to attend classes.)

APS East Mountain Schools include:

  • A. Montoya Elementary School
  • San Antonito Elementary School
  • Roosevelt Middle School
  • Manzano High School: Students who live in the East Mountains

The exams will take place in the EHS library from 3:00-4:30 on April 25th and May 1st.

About Our School

Opened in 1970, Eldorado High School is a traditional comprehensive public high school in the northeast heights of Albuquerque New Mexico, serving approximately 1890 students in grades 9 through 12.  Our school prides itself as a high performing school with high academic standards that ensure college and career readiness upon graduation. Eldorado High School promotes a climate of challenging instruction with high expectations for all students by offering a well-rounded educational program, including extracurricular activities, leading to college entrance and/or career paths that foster economic independence, critical thinking, and social responsibility to the global community.
